Eating Out with Chiaki

This past Saturday I went out and had dinner with Chiaki as my accompaniment along with a group of friends.

Although the plan was to go get some crepes we ended going to an aptly named restaurant the Japanese Kitchen where the meal is cooked by the chef at your table.

“Wall-o-Figures”

Behold my version of what fellow comrade Tommy from the Inferno Project christened Wall-o-Figures. It’s nice to finally being able to display my figures in a nice manner like this.

This also gave me the chance to finally open a few figures I had yet to unbox due to lack of space.

Although not as stylish as with glass shelves I’m quite pleased with the result. After all it was relative cheap and still leaves with space for future purchases.

Time to Make Another List <3

Now that January has come and gone and a bunch of companies and what not got a small fortune from me it’s time to make another list of future purchases.

Today I got the last part of my January loot in the form of a big suspicious box. With Nanoha as my assistant lets see what I got.

Alter’s Louis Uniform Ver.

Haven’t had one of these in a while. Now that I have upgraded my imaging armory with a nice entry level DSLR it’s time for me to go about shooting my figures.

For this post I will take a look at one of my favorite Louise PVC figures.

I Feel Robbed

A few posts back I mentioned I bought Demon’s Souls. I was so happy to finally get my hands on it and was just waiting until I finished Valkyria Chronicles to play it.

Well, that didn’t happen. I opened my brand new, factory sealed copy of the game only to find an empty case staring at me.

The case does indeed contain the instruction booklet, it does have that plastic smell from unopened games and the box is still shiny and smooth. No indication whatsoever that it was tampered with.

No idea what happened to the actual game disc.

Since I’m almost certain no one at the store I bought it is gonna believe me the case was empty I will probably have to buy the game again.

So I emailed Atlus, they are a reasonable bunch let’s see how it plays out.

I Love My Dollfie Musume

I think Nanoha is the cutest dollfie musume ever. My friend tells me it’s just my parent bias, nonsense I say.

I got my self a DSLR camera, a Nikon D3000. I read that it was a good and relatively cheap entry level DSLR.

Finally got myself to start messing with the settings to see what kinda of pictures I can produce. Right now I’m at cross road, I feel like redoing my previous figure photo shoots but probably should just move on to the other figures I own.

Well, at the very least I will redo Shiki, my digi cam failed miserably at picking up the beautiful details on her kimono.

Hmm…come to think of it, the title has not much to do with this post…other than being a fact.
